In five sessions, we will explore current topics such as BASF's path to Net Zero and the urgency of the transition from fossil to renewable carbon sources.

With dedicated sessions for Personal Care, Home Care and I&I, and Industrial Formulators, you will have the chance to explore industry-specific development opportunities and identify action points.

For our Care 360° Sustainability Days, we have taken an overarching approach to provide a comprehensive overview of the path we want to take. That's why we've invited scientists, thought leaders and industry experts to join our BASF specialists for panel discussions and presentations on a variety of sustainability topics.
Here's what you can expect!

Join us on our sustainability journey from September 17-19.

Enhancing our Understanding of PCF Drivers in Formulations: Decoding the Product Carbon Footprint of Home Care and I&I Formulations

September 18 | 2 pm CET | 45 min

As we strive for more sustainable practices, the composition and potential reduction of the carbon footprint is a critical consideration. But when it comes to home care and industrial & institutional cleaning formulations, what exactly does that mean? In this session, we use a number of detergent and cleaner frame formulations to demonstrate the practical effects of individual components on the final PCF. The aim is to show which components of the formulations contribute how much CO2 to the final carbon footprint. This knowledge is critical to identifying areas for improvement. Let’s jointly investigate strategies to reduce formulation carbon footprints while maintaining performance.
