Degressal SD 20 is a fatty alcohol alkoxylate used as a foam suppressor in detergents and cleaners. It is suitable for applications where silicone is undesirable. The product is insoluble in water but can be solubilized in aqueous solutions with hydrotropes, glycols, alcohols, or surfactants.
