Salcare® SC 81 UP is an alkali-activated polymer. It is designed for use as a rheology modifier in a range of cosmetic and toiletry formulations. It provides rheology modification, suspension properties, and viscosity building while eliminating the need for heating to develop viscosity in skin and hair products, sodium chloride in viscosity building, and specialized equipment for product handling.
