Recently, the BASF Care Creations team launched a new concept 'Exclusively HerCare: Tailored Hair Care for Her Curls and Coils.' As part of this concept, we set out to learn more about consumer needs for textured hair and took a deeper dive into a typical textured hair care routine.

Hair care formulators have an opportunity to elevate their textured hair products to address unique concerns such as scalp care, style preservation, managing protective styles, and porosity.

RAMBUVITAL^®, an extract from the rambutan seed, protects hair from pollution, improves its vitality, and increases scalp hydration. In vivo, the scalp was significantly more hydrated within one month (+31% vs placebo) and the hair appeared and felt healthier and shinier.
