1. UV Filter Selection

Select the Z-COTE grade that best fits your needs based on transparency, particle size and coating.

2. Ingredient Selection

If selecting an uncoated particle, look for emollients with high polarity such as Myritol^®331. If working with a hydrophobic coating on the particle, look for emollients with medium-low polarity. For best results, pair with non-ionic ingredients such as rheology modifiers and emulsifiers.

3. Dispersing ZnO

Mix well in hot oil, then homogenize the oil phase to further disperse the particles. Then homogenize the emulsion to ensure optimum performance and stability.

Melaneven™ utilizes a combination of novel flowers to help prevent melanin production 3x more effectively than kojic acid, providing skin a more radiant appearance. Cetiol^® C 5C is a fast-spreading emollient positioned as a good alternative to volatile silicones like cyclomethicone with the same light, silky feel. Emulgade^® Verde 10 MS is a green emulsifier based on 100% renewable feedstocks and provides formulators with a flexible emulsifier with enhanced stability in O/W creams and lotions.

LuxeLuminance Ageless Cream

Enjoy the robust appearance of a cream with the quick absorbing texture of a serum in our SolarQuench Rich Sun Serum. Z-COTE^® Sheer is a broad-spectrum UV filter dispersion of zinc oxide with low-whitening on the skin and excellent photostability. Cetiol^® Ultimate is an easy to absorb, ultrafast-spreading emollient that leaves a smooth, dry feeling on the skin. Ultra Filling Spheres™ technology helps tighten the skin and smooth out wrinkles via absorption of water evaporating from the deep dermis.

SolarQuench Rich Sun Serum

Experience the luxuries only royalty receives through our LuxeLuminance Ageless Cream. Cetiol^® CC is a fast-spreading emollient suitable for suncare formulations due to its outstanding solubilizing capacities for crystalline UV-filters. The combination of Cutina^® Shine film-former and Verdessence^® RiceTouch biopolymer help provide even spreading while leaving skin feeling matte and powdery. Hyaluronic Filling Sphere^® technology helps smooth away the appearance of deep wrinkles due to hyaluronic acid's high water-retaining capacity.
